Every body likes music. At list most of the normal people. In this field we can find something for every one. Even if we like classic music, rock music or any other type of music, nothing can be more pleasant and relaxing than to listen something you may like and enjoy. Music has this power. It can make us happier, more relaxed, and some of us can concentrate more when they are listening to music. Through the music you choose to listen, you can express your feelings without the need to speak. We all hear it, but do we ever wonder how this music is created?
Well, to create music, beside talent you may need the proper instruments for the type of music you intend to play. Since the oldest times, people create music, and they used as instruments most everything that could produce sounds. Most of us know that we can make music using just glasses, or something else. But to create real music, you need more elaborated instruments, which are not that easy to make. As you need talent to play, you also need talent to manufacture these instruments. There are so many types of instruments, that it is so hard to classify them in some way or another. But they can not be put all of them together, because they are created in different ways, so they can release different sounds, and these sounds mixed will create the music we enjoy so much. So we will try to make some classification according with the manufacturing materials used for these instruments, and according with the way of playing them and the music they are able to create. There are instruments, which produce sounds through a vibrating membrane usually made from leather like the drums. The cord instruments like piano produce sounds through the vibration of the strings. In this category you may find other instruments such as the harps, violoncello, guitars, violins and other instruments with cords. There may be other instruments, such as the ones you can shake or hit, and in this way they are able to produce sounds through their own vibration. In this category you can find instruments such as the xylophone. Another category of instruments is the one that uses blown air to release sounds. These can be flutes, or trumpets, or many others instrument that work this way. There may be other way to classify these instruments, after the sounds they are releasing such as tenor instruments, bass instruments, alto, soprano, or baritone instruments. Some of them can be placed in more categories than one, such as the trombone, which can be considered both tenor and baritone instrument.
As it was mentioned before, creating instruments is not such an easy thing to do, and most of the manufacturers are creating only one category of instruments, such cords instruments, or percussion ones. Their manufacturing process, implies lot of factors, and to be able to create quality instruments, you might need, allot of time and attention to all the details.
